If you decided to walk from Piazza Navona to Campo dei Fiori, or vice versa, you cross the beautiful eighteenth century courtyard of Palazzo Braschi, and there you find the Bookshop of the Museum of Rome.

Besides a thick book in Italian on the Museum and a more streamlined booklet published in Italian and English on Palazzo Braschi, you can find all the guidebooks of the Civic Museums of Rome. For casual visitors to the city and residents who wish to know it better, the Bookshop offers a wide range of travel guides, as well as books on cooking and other topics. There are also publications on Eighteenth- and Nineteenth-Century art, catalogues of the major exhibitions taking place in Rome and Italy. Even young readers can find children’s books on art and the city. During temporary exhibitions at the Museum, the Bookshop presents a rich collection of publications on the subject. There are about 750 titles available to residents and visitors. The attention paid to the books on sale is also found in gadgets, such as replica jewellery designed and created by artisans and goldsmiths and inspired by jewels depicted in popular paintings. Glassmakers have created dishes and tiles inspired by Palazzo Braschi’s eighteenth-century decoration, and for the lovers of contemporary design there are bags, purses and jewellery designed by young creative artists.

The bookshop is open during the museum opening hours.
